After months of prayers and hope shared by so many, baby Amelia from Eagle Pass, Texas, has passed away at just four months old.
Just days earlier, her mother, Ruby, reached out in fear after Amelia stopped breathing in the NICU. Despite everything, the tiny baby who had been fighting since birth took her final breath yesterday evening.
“Yesterday evening our Amelia finished the race with all her little strength,” Ruby wrote. “She fought to her last breath.”
Born with severe medical complications, doctors initially believed Amelia would only survive a few hours. Instead, she spent four months defying expectations—enduring treatments, pain, and countless battles just to stay alive.
Through heartbreak, Ruby shared a message of love and strength:
“Our little girl taught us how to love with all our might and to fight every obstacle in life to enjoy every moment as we live.”
