SAT . HUNTER’S ROAD TO HEALING: PAIN, PERSEVERANCE, AND HOPE

There’s no denying—it’s a difficult image to look at.
But for Hunter’s family, it doesn’t represent pain. It represents healing.
Since the day this lineman was nearly electrocuted in a devastating accident, his journey has become a powerful testament to resilience. Hunter has now endured more than 13 surgeries, each one a step forward in his fight to survive and regain movement.
Just a month ago, he was coming out of another major operation, with fresh skin grafts and wounds that were still struggling to heal.
Today, there is real progress—something his family has been praying for.
“Hunter is doing well,” they shared.
He is now attending occupational therapy three times a week, focusing on his right hand as well as his left arm and fingers. The grafts on his left arm are healing on their own. His body is responding.
There are still challenges ahead.
He continues to have a pin in his left thumb, and another surgery will be needed to repair a tendon.
His family is asking for continued prayers—especially for healing and improved range of motion—as he works to reclaim his life.
Hunter is still fighting.
And those prayers… are being answered.
