SAT . BREAKING: HORROR IN THE DELIVERY ROOM! Trump’s ICE Is tracking pregnant women in labor with dangerous, unremovable surveillance watches.

Under Donald Trump’s brutal immigration crackdown, America has reached a dystopian new low: pregnant immigrant women being tracked through labor and C-sections with ICE-issued surveillance smartwatches — devices they cannot remove even in medical emergencies.
This isn’t a metaphor or exaggeration. It’s happening right now in U.S. hospitals.
In Colorado, a woman nine months pregnant walked into an emergency obstetrics unit wearing what looked like a normal smartwatch — but wasn’t. It was a VeriWatch, a GPS tracker built by BI Inc., the same private prison contractor that once tracked cattle before it moved on to tracking human beings for profit. ICE had ordered her to wear it 24/7.
When she arrived at the hospital, the device was beeping, low on battery. She panicked, terrified ICE agents would think she was fleeing and seize her newborn. She had good reason to fear them: just days earlier, she’d been put on a deportation flight, and only avoided being expelled because the pilot refused to fly her so close to birth.
Then her labor stalled. Doctors rushed to prep her for an emergency C-section — a surgery that requires removing all metal from the body. But her ICE-mandated watch? No clasp. No release. No protocol. No number to call. And no permission to remove it without ICE approval.
Hospital workers said she broke down in terror when they told her they might have to cut it off. She feared ICE would storm the maternity ward and take her baby before she could hold it.
This is not an isolated case.
Two hospital workers said they’d treated three different pregnant women in recent months, all wearing ICE smartwatches, all too terrified to remove them even when medically necessary. One woman was diagnosed with preeclampsia — a life-threatening condition — and staff worried the device could literally cut off her circulation. She sobbed, fearing ICE would arrest her in the operating room.
And it’s not just Colorado.
Across the country, hospital workers say Trump’s policies have created a public health crisis. Immigrant patients — including pregnant women — are avoiding hospitals, skipping prenatal care, missing vaccinations, and ditching lifesaving medications out of fear that ICE will use their medical visits to detain or deport them.
In Chicago, one major clinic saw a 40% drop in patients picking up their medication since Trump took office. In California, health workers report patients disappearing entirely from prenatal care until they’re on the verge of giving birth.
Meanwhile, BI Inc. and its parent corporation, GEO Group, are cashing in. Their goal? To slap GPS trackers on all 7.5 million immigrants on the U.S. non-detained docket. Pregnant women — some as young as teenagers — are part of the test group.
A Colorado nurse put it best: “They’re looking at people who literally can’t speak up, who have no legal resources, who are pregnant. And they’re testing how far they can go.”
Trump’s America is many things — but no one can say they weren’t warned. When you treat human beings like criminals simply for being immigrants, you get inhumane systems. When you give them to private prisons, you get cruelty at scale. And when you strap unremovable government trackers onto women in labor?
You get a nightmare that no democracy should tolerate.
