ST.SHOWDOWN IN MINNESOTA: Trump makes hardline offer to Gov Tim Walz after d3adly chaos as Leavitt blames Democrats for ‘hostile resistance’ to ICE

The White House has revealed that President Donald Trump personally confronted Minnesota Governor Tim Walz with a blunt, no-nonsense offer following a violent confrontation involving federal law enforcement in Minneapolis — warning that lawlessness, sanctuary policies and political obstruction must end immediately.

Speaking after Saturday’s d3adly incident, Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said the tragedy was “the direct result of deliberate and hostile resistance by Democrat leaders in Minnesota”, accusing Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey of fueling chaos, undermining federal officers and encouraging dangerous behavior toward ICE agents.

“This didn’t happen in a vacuum,” Leavitt said. “This is what unfolds when elected officials spend weeks attacking federal law enforcement and blocking cooperation.”

Leavitt accused Walz, Frey and other Democrats of spreading falsehoods about federal officers who are “risking their lives daily” to remove violent criminal illegal immigrants, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, human traffickers and gang members, from American streets.

She said Minnesota leaders:

  • Blocked state and local police from cooperating with ICE
  • Used their platforms to encourage left-wing activists to stalk, record and obstruct federal agents
  • Created dangerous, volatile situations for officers and the public alike

“This used to be universally understood in America,” Leavitt said. “Obstructing law enforcement and inciting violence against officers is wrong and illegal.”

Trump blames Biden, sanctuary cities and ‘four years of open borders’

Leavitt tied the Minneapolis violence to what she called “four years of open borders under Joe Biden”, accusing Democrats of inviting tens of millions of illegal migrants into the country, including violent criminals.

She claimed Democrats and the liberal media showed no outrage when Americans were murdered by illegal criminals, saying the pain of “Angel Families” — relatives of Americans killed by illegal migrants — was “ignored and dismissed.”

As an example, Leavitt cited a recent case in New Jersey, where an illegal migrant allegedly threw a baseball-sized rock at a school bus, fracturing the skull of an eight-year-old child.

Minnesota Gov. Walz: 'This is an inflection point'Trump’s call to Walz: a ‘clear and simple path’ to order

Leavitt revealed that Trump spoke directly with Governor Walz on Sunday morning, laying out what she described as a “clear and simple path” to restoring law and order in Minnesota.

Trump’s demands, according to the White House, were stark:

1. Minnesota leaders must hand over all illegal immigrants currently in custody — along with those who have active warrants or known criminal histories — for immediate deportation

2. State and local police must agree to transfer all illegal immigrants arrested locally to federal authorities

3. Local law enforcement must assist ICE in apprehending and detaining violent criminals

“If Minnesota followed the same common-sense policies used in other states,” Leavitt said, “there would be no need for federal agents to step in.”

‘End sanctuary cities once and for all’

Trump is now calling on Congress to immediately pass legislation ending sanctuary cities nationwide, insisting American cities should be sanctuaries for law-abiding citizens — not criminal illegal immigrants.

“Americans overwhelmingly want exactly what President Trump is delivering,” Leavitt said, citing polling that shows around 80 percent of Americans support deporting illegal immigrants who commit crimes.

She added that the president’s goal is peaceful enforcement, with federal, state and local law enforcement working together — not clashing in the streets.

‘Let cops be cops’

Leavitt closed by saying Trump hopes Governor Walz will “do the right thing” and work with the administration following their call.

“We want to let cops be cops,” she said. “Despite biased media coverage, this is an enormously popular position with the American people.”

With two Minnesotans now d3ad, tensions escalating and federal agents already on the ground, Minnesota has become the latest flashpoint in America’s immigration and law-and-order war — and Trump has made it clear he expects compliance, not resistance.
