ST.BREAKING: The Chiefs have suffered a brutal Thanksgiving setback. Rookie left tackle Josh Simmons has been ruled out indefinitely after dislocating and fracturing his wrist during Kansas City’s loss to the Cowboys. 😔💥

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Simmons left AT&T Stadium in a cast and is scheduled for an MRI to determine treatment options. The 22-year-old first-round pick had already missed four games earlier this season due to a personal matter but started the other eight — quickly becoming one of KC’s most important young pieces.

The injuries didn’t stop there.
Right tackle Jawaan Taylor suffered an elbow issue, and safety Bryan Cook exited with an ankle injury, leaving the Chiefs dangerously thin heading into the final stretch of the season.
With Simmons and Taylor possibly missing multiple games, Kansas City will rely on Jaylon Moore and Wanya Morris to stabilize the offensive line.

Sitting at 6–6, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will try to regroup and defend Arrowhead when they host the 6–5 Texans on Sunday Night Football.
