LS ‘An Update on Little Jax — and a Moment to Honor the Heroes at Children’s Medical Center Dallas’ LS

When Jax’s story was last shared in September, his family was holding on to a fragile hope — that the new year might finally bring their baby home. After months spent within hospital walls, they dared to imagine life beyond the Cardiac ICU.

Jax was born with multiple severe, life-threatening heart defects. From the very beginning of his life, he has known more wires than blankets, more machines than toys. Nearly his entire life has been spent in the Cardiac ICU, enduring open-heart surgery, constant monitoring, and battles no child should ever have to face.

Early this morning, everything changed.

Jax’s heart stopped.

For 37 agonizing minutes, a team of doctors, nurses, and specialists refused to give up on him. Hands moved with urgency. Voices called out numbers and instructions. Every second mattered. And for 37 minutes, they fought — relentlessly — for this little warrior’s life.

And they brought him back.

Jax is now on ECMO, a life-support machine that temporarily takes over the work of his heart and lungs, giving his fragile body a chance to rest and heal. He is fully sedated, supported by multiple medications, and as stable as he can be under these circumstances.

There are no big milestones being chased today. No long-term plans being made.
Today’s goal is simple: keep Jax Reign — Beats of a Warrior stable.

This is one of those moments that reminds us just how fragile life is — and how extraordinary human compassion can be. The heroes at Children’s Medical Center Dallas stood between loss and hope today. They fought with skill, courage, and heart, and because of them, Jax is still here.

Now, he needs us.

Wrap this proven fighter in your prayers, your love, and your faith. Help surround him and his family with strength during one of the hardest days they will ever face. ❤

Jax has already shown the world what it means to fight. Today, we stand with him — believing, hoping, and loving him through every heartbeat.
