Good morning!
As we start our day, I’d like to ask that you include our friend Will Roberts in your prayers.
Will and his parents Jason and Brittney headed to Children’s of Alabama yesterday after Will- fighting bone cancer- experienced pain on Thursday.
Wrote Brittney last night:
“Will’s pain in his right leg came out of nowhere yesterday and quickly became debilitating by last night.
Today, he could not even stand to use the restroom.
“We contacted oncology and have since been admitted to Children’s as they work to establish an effective pain management plan.
Nothing in his right leg lit up on his PET scan in early December, which raises concern that this could be something new.
“X-rays have been completed, and we are waiting to speak with the doctor while Will is finally resting peacefully.
“Please pray for Jason and me that we remain steadfast in our faith and continue trusting God’s plan, even as this past week has tested us in ways we never expected.”
I texted Jason last night during the Bama game in hopes to hear that Will was watching his favorite team.
Will was sound asleep- Jason did get a chance to peek in on the game from Will’s hospital room.
Will and Brittney are hoping today will bring better news.
