SO. 6,900 MILES AWAY BUT COVERED BY PRAYER: JADEN COLLINS & THE U.S. NAVY

A mom from Rocky Mount, North Carolina is asking for prayers for her son, Jaden Collins, who is a logistics specialist in the U.S. Navy stationed 6,900 miles away in Bahrain. On February 28, 2026, Ebony Collins said in a post, “Keep my baby and fellow sailors covered. That phone call was so unexpected at 3 a.m.”
Many families are feeling a lot of stress and fear due to the uncertain situation in the Middle East. Over the past week, many people in countries across the region have seen missile interceptions, drone strikes, and constant emergency missile alerts on their phones throughout the day and night. But it’s important to remember a powerful Bible verse, Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper.”
Delisha Richardson, a real estate agent from Rocky Mount, shared a powerful prayer for Ebony, Jaden, and all of the troops and military families. Delisha said, “Father, I lift my nephew up to You right now. Cover him with Your protection physically and mentally. Shield him from danger seen and unseen, strengthen him, and remind him that You go before him and stand beside him. Lord, hold my sister Ebony Collins tightly in Your arms. Calm her fears, comfort her heart, and replace every worry with faith and confidence in Your divine protection. We trust You, Father. Even in uncertainty, You are in control. Surround our family and our troops with Your peace.”
