SAT . Update from Hunter: A Quiet Night, A Meaningful Step Forward

Last night brought something this family has learned not to take for granted — a genuinely good night.
Hunter slept until 4:30 a.m. and went nearly ten hours, from about 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., without needing any pain medication. Through the night, his pain remained manageable. Rest, limited movement, and the help of trazodone allowed his body to finally settle.
In long, difficult recoveries, progress doesn’t always come in dramatic moments. Sometimes it shows up quietly — in uninterrupted sleep, in pain that doesn’t break through, in a body that gets a chance to heal instead of just endure.
For Hunter, this was one of those nights.
It’s a reminder that healing is not always loud or fast. Sometimes it happens slowly, one peaceful night at a time.
Please continue to pray — that his pain will continue to lessen, that his sleep remains steady or improves, and that his body keeps responding to rest and care.
These small victories are giving his family something priceless right now: hope.
