SAT . Update After Surgery: Healing Continues, Hope Grows šŸ™

There is finally some encouraging news.

Dr. Purcell has just informed the family that the surgery went very well. There were no complications, and the medical team is pleased with how the healing process is progressing so far.

While the area on his left thumb is not quite ready yet for a skin graft, everything else is healing beautifully. Doctors shared a photo of his left arm and wrist, and the tissue looked strong and healthy — a dark, rich color that doctors describe as a very good sign of healing.

For now, the pin in his left thumb will remain in place until after the skin graft procedure is completed and the new skin fully takes hold. Only after that step will surgeons begin the delicate process of reconstructing the tendons in the thumb.

Recovery will continue for another 1–2 weeks before doctors attempt the skin graft.

For a family that has been holding their breath through every update, this news brings a moment of relief and gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying, supporting, and sending love during this difficult journey. Every prayer matters. ā¤ļø
