SAT . Update: A Better Night and Brighter Morning for Hunter Alexander

There’s encouraging news to share in today’s update on Hunter Alexander.
Hunter had a good night of rest, telling his family that his pain level is significantly lower than it has been since his injury — and that he slept more than he has in days. For those walking this journey with him, that alone feels like progress.
This morning brought more good signs. Hunter’s appetite is strong, and he was able to enjoy breakfast — a small but meaningful milestone in his recovery.
Some of his ICU nurses stopped by to visit, and it clearly lifted his spirits. Hunter has said he deeply misses the constant care and familiar faces from his ICU team, and seeing them again reminded him just how supported he is.
Once he was cleaned up and settled, plans were made for laps around the hospital, with the possibility of getting outside for some fresh air — another positive step forward.
Dr. Marshall and the trauma team also checked in. While there were no major changes to report, they plan to review and adjust Hunter’s GI medications to help keep his system moving smoothly.
Perhaps most telling of all: Hunter is feeling well enough to interact with followers on TikTok (@hunterhuntercole), something his family says is a clear sign that his energy and mood are improving.
As always, the family wants to thank everyone for the continued prayers, messages, and unwavering support.
Today brought relief.
And moments like this matter.
