SAT . It’s been nearly two months since I last shared an update on Bowen’s journey battling brain cancer… and this time, the news brings a truly heartwarming smile. 💙

This is what healing looks like.

A little boy who once fought through infections, multiple surgeries, and even the loss of part of his skull… is now just one week out from having it fully reconstructed.

Thirty titanium screws.
A full plate.
A head once filled with uncertainty… now whole again.

Amazingly, Bowen is already up and walking around, asking for his favorite food, returning to places that once gave him comfort… and choosing joy as if it comes naturally.

His mom shares that he barely even notices the incision.
That it’s healing beautifully.
That he’s “bouncing back in true Bowen fashion” — strong, resilient, and full of life.

But what stands out the most…

Is that Bowen went back to the place where his family stayed during months of treatment — simply to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who prayed.
To the medical team who carried them through their darkest days.
To the neurosurgeon, the nurse practitioner, and all the behind-the-scenes heroes… who gave them something priceless — hope.

And now, you can see that hope.
Right there in the healing scar.
Right there in that beautiful smile.

If you’ve been following Bowen’s journey, take a moment to celebrate this milestone with his family.

💬 What would you say to a family who never stopped believing… and a little boy who continues to show the world what true strength looks like?
