sat . Dom Is Heading Back for Surgery — And This Time, Everything Has to Go Right 🙏🏻

Sometimes, hope arrives in the smallest windows.

Dom is heading back for surgery sooner than expected. Yesterday, a last-minute cancellation opened a spot on the surgeon’s schedule, and he was able to be squeezed in. It meant a long, exhausting night of preparation—but waiting weeks for the next opening simply wasn’t an option. Given the situation Dom is in, this was truly the best-case scenario.

This surgery, however, will be more invasive than the first.

The road ahead won’t be easy. Doctors are preparing the family for a 7–10 day hospital stay, followed by three long months in a brace, assuming everything goes as planned. The recovery will be slower. The challenges will be greater. And the stakes feel heavier than ever.

After everything Dom has already been through, this is one of those moments where there’s no room left for “almost.” No space for setbacks. With the luck he’s had so far, everything has to go right this time.

The waiting is hard. The uncertainty is harder. But Dom is walking into this next chapter with courage—surrounded by love, prayers, and the hope that this surgery will finally move him closer to healing.

Tonight, and in the days ahead, we’re asking for every prayer, every good thought, every bit of positive energy to be sent Dom’s way. May the surgeon’s hands be steady. May the recovery be smooth. May this chapter end with relief instead of more questions.

One step. One surgery. One hopeful outcome. 🙏🏻
