TST. A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE ON THE WATER: WARRIOR WILL ROBERTS’ DREAM BASS BOAT IS FINALLY REAL
Christmas is widely known as the season of miracles, but for 14-year-old Will Roberts, magic didn’t just come from a fairy tale. It came from the unity, compassion, and golden hearts of the fishing community and supporters across the globe.

When Dreams Are No Longer Just Shadows
Will Roberts has fought bone cancer with a level of bravery that humbles even the strongest adults. Amidst painful chemotherapy sessions and long, grueling nights in hospital corridors, one dream burned brightly in Will’s heart: to own a professional Bass boat. To a boy who finds peace on the water, a boat is more than just a vessel; it is a symbol of freedom—a place where he can escape the reality of illness and be one with nature.

As Christmas approached, that dream transformed into a stunning reality. Will’s dream boat is the real deal, fully equipped with top-of-the-line technology: from professional live wells and a high-performance trolling motor to every piece of gear a pro angler could ever desire.

The Power of Kindness: When Champions Step Up
What makes this story truly extraordinary is the way it came together. Giants of the professional fishing world—Jordan Lee (Cullman) and Dustin Connell (Clanton)—two of the top-ranked anglers on the planet, didn’t hesitate to step up. They didn’t just lend their names to the cause; they gave their heart and influence to ensure Will received nothing but the best.
The project was expertly overseen by Rick and Carol Clark of Kidz Outdoors, who worked tirelessly to coordinate the resources. The combined efforts of Sylacauga Marine and thousands of dollars in donations from people like YOU proved one thing: when we move together, no dream is too big.

From the Hospital Bed to the Lake: The Spirit of a Warrior
Just days before receiving this surprise, Will faced a terrifying setback. He was rushed to Children’s of Alabama with severe, debilitating pain. Yet, in true warrior fashion, Will refused to let the pain anchor him down for long.
Almost immediately after being stabilized, Will performed a heartfelt christening of his new boat. Instead of simply admiring it from the driveway, he headed straight for the lake alongside his heroes, Jordan and Dustin. The sight of Will on his new boat, rod in hand, surrounded by blue water and the idols he looks up to, is the ultimate portrait of the human spirit triumphing over adversity.
A Christmas of Hope and Shared Strength
Will Roberts’ story is a warm reminder for us all this holiday season. Sometimes, the greatest gift isn’t found under a tree, but in the way we lift each other up during our darkest hours.
This Bass boat will now be Will’s companion on his journey toward recovery. Every time that engine starts and the boat glides across the water, Will will feel the strength of the thousands of people standing right behind him.
This Christmas, the Roberts family doesn’t just have a new boat; they have a reinforced faith in the miracles that happen when good people take action. Thank you to Jordan, Dustin, Kidz Outdoors, and every single person who donated a “brick” to build this dream for Will.
Merry Christmas, Will! May your days be filled with tight lines and joy on your brand-new boat.
