Hunter Alexander has been moved to Room 9K-17 at LSU Health Shreveport, and the outpouring of love and support shows no signs of slowing down.
Many people have reached out asking where they can send cards and well wishes. The family shared the mailing information below for those hoping to lift Hunter’s spirits during his recovery:

Questions have also come in regarding Hunter’s GoFundMe, as friends, coworkers, and strangers alike look for ways to support him through what is expected to be a long and challenging healing process.
At this time, there is still uncertainty about how long Hunter will remain hospitalized. There has been discussion that he may eventually be discharged and return for outpatient wound surgeries, but the family stresses that no official orders have been given. For now, his next surgery remains scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026.

As always, updates will be shared as soon as more information becomes available.
And even in the middle of the worry and waiting, a small moment of humor broke through — vanilla ice was spotted on the unit 🤣 — a reminder that even during the hardest chapters, humanity, laughter, and hope still find their way in.
Please continue to keep Hunter in your thoughts and prayers as he fights forward, one day at a time. 🙏
