SAT. After a Night of Fear, a Small but Powerful Sign of Hope for Hunter

It was just after 6:30 a.m. when Hunter and his family prepared to leave the NLMC emergency room.

Before the ambulance arrived โ€” just ten minutes away โ€” Hunter asked his mom to take a photo.

It was a small request. But after everything this family has endured, it meant everything.

Only hours earlier, Hunter had been rushed back to the hospital after his left arm suddenly began bleeding. He passed out. His blood pressure dropped to dangerous levels, sending his family into yet another terrifying race against time.

This was the same young lineman who had just returned home after two weeks in the ICU, recovering from a near-fatal electrocution and multiple surgeries that nearly cost him his arms. Days ago, the focus was on healing โ€” on outpatient care, rebuilding strength, and reclaiming a sense of normal life.

Then, once again, everything changed.

Through the night, doctors worked to stabilize him. Fluids were given. Vital signs were closely monitored. Prayers poured in from all directions as his family waited, moment by moment, for any sign of improvement.

By morning, there was finally news they could hold onto.

Hunterโ€™s blood pressure returned to normal.

The ambulance was on its way to transport him for further care, but the immediate crisis had eased. It wasnโ€™t a finish line โ€” but it was a breath. A pause. A reminder of how fragile โ€” and how powerful โ€” hope can be.

โ€œThank yโ€™all for praying,โ€ the family shared.

This journey is far from over. But after a night filled with fear, faith showed up โ€” and for now, it carried them through.

Hunter has beaten the odds before.
And once again, heโ€™s still standing. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™
