sat . A Sunday to Remember: Laughter, Faith, and Good News at Just the Right Time

It was truly a wonderful day — one that began in unforgettable fashion when a kid’s toy truck somehow made its way to church.
Everyone did great getting ready and arriving on time… until the laughter took over.
And no — it wasn’t the kids driving the chaos.

It was my sweet husband, Jason Roberts, who kept honking the horn and pulling forward every time I tried to step in, turning the moment into a car full of laughter and playful mischief. I may have let one tiny curse word slip, but honestly, how could I not laugh?
Moments like these — loud, imperfect, and full of joy — are what make life so beautifully real.
And then, as if the day couldn’t get any better, we received incredible news.

It was a Sunday filled with laughter, love, and praise — a reminder that even after the hardest seasons, hope still shows up right on time.
We were blessed with a positive PET scan report — a result that had once looked dark and devastating. In that moment, gratitude took over. Gratitude for answered prayers. Gratitude for faith that carried us through the waiting. Gratitude for the altar and the church family who lifted us up when we needed it most.
Happy Sunday, and all glory to God. 🙏❤️
