SAT . A POWERFUL MILESTONE: ONE MINUTE THAT MEANS EVERYTHING

It may not seem like much to most people—but for a 16-year-old girl who suffered a traumatic brain injury, this moment is nothing short of a miracle.
“Dilynn held herself upright in a sitting position today for the first time.”
That’s what her mom, Jessica, shared—her voice filled with emotion.
One minute.
A full minute her body had to relearn from the very beginning just to stay upright.
“Never in my life did I think I’d be celebrating something like this—but here we are.”
Just a few months ago, everything changed in an instant.
A rainy drive. A routine trip. Then a crash that left her fighting for her life.
Doctors weren’t sure she would make it.
But Dilynn kept fighting.
Now, she’s in rehab—rebuilding everything from the ground up. Every movement, every response, every bit of strength is being relearned. With the help of an exoskeleton suit, she’s even taken steps—small, powerful steps—as her brain and body slowly reconnect.
And today, she sat up on her own.
“One full minute of strength, determination, and progress.”
It may be just a minute—but it represents hope, resilience, and a journey that is far from over.
If you’ve been following her story, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Leave a message for Dilynn and her mom—something they can read and feel the love and strength from. 🙏
