SAT . A Call to Prayer: Community Unites at 8:30 a.m. to Lift Will in Faith

This morning at 8:30 a.m. CST, families, friends, and strangers alike are being asked to pause — wherever they are — to unite in prayer for Will.

Whether at home, at work, or standing in the middle of a grocery store aisle, supporters are encouraged to stop what they’re doing and lift Will up in prayer. Some may kneel. Some may raise their hands. Some may simply bow their heads. But all are invited to take part.

“If someone sees you kneeling by the canned corn and asks what you’re doing,” the message reads, “tell them: ‘I’m talking to the God we serve… want to join?’”

The call is rooted in a belief that there is strength in unity and power in collective faith — that when people come together with one purpose, something greater happens.

Those participating are encouraged to pray these words together:

“God, we come to You with full hearts and desperate hope. Please remove this cancer from Will’s body. Heal him in a way that only You can. Surround Brittney, Jason, and Charlie with Your comfort, Your strength, and Your peace.
You promise that ‘with God, all things are possible’ (Matthew 19:26), and today we are choosing to believe that with everything we have.
Show up in a big, big way, Lord. We are asking for a miracle.
Amen.”

Organizers ask that anyone who feels led share the message so more people can join in covering this family in prayer — believing together for healing, strength, and hope.

Sometimes faith looks like quiet moments of stillness.
And sometimes, it looks like a community stopping everything — together — to believe for a miracle.
