After bravely battling brain cancer at St. Jude, enduring surgeries, infections, and now his fifth round of chemotherapy, Bowen’s tiny body is simply exhausted.
The fevers won’t give him a break long enough to go home. Every time his temperature spikes, the clock resets — hope paused once again.

Doctors have now drawn a third blood culture, searching for an infection that still refuses to reveal itself. His lab results are stable for the moment, but his neutropenia is resolving painfully slowly, meaning the fevers may not be done yet.

Between constant vitals checks, bone pain as his marrow struggles to recover, and barely any real rest, Bowen is worn down — physically and emotionally.

And his parents?

They’re watching their little boy fight through pain and discomfort they can’t take away.
It’s the kind of helplessness no mom or dad is ever prepared for.

Just days ago, this family celebrated a miracle — an MRI showing no spread of cancer.
Now they’re back where they know too well: waiting, worrying, and praying.
