SAT . 🇺🇸 A Nation Mourns: Rest in Peace, Sgt. Benjamin Pennington

Another young American life has been lost.

26-year-old U.S. Army Sgt. Benjamin Pennington of Kentucky has been identified as the seventh American service member killed in the conflict involving Iran.

Somewhere in Kentucky, a quiet home was shattered by a knock on the door… or a phone call no parent ever wants to receive.

A mother heard the words that stop the world.
A father felt the weight of a grief no family should carry.

Their son is not coming home.

Sgt. Pennington was more than a soldier.
He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a young man with dreams still waiting to be lived. At just 26 years old, his life was only beginning — yet he chose to stand in harm’s way in service to his country.

Tonight, a family grieves.
A community mourns.
And a nation pauses to remember a young man who gave everything.

His sacrifice is a reminder of the heavy price paid by the brave men and women who wear the uniform — and by the families who love them.

🙏 Please keep Sgt. Benjamin Pennington’s family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your prayers during this heartbreaking time.

Rest easy, Sergeant. Your service, courage, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
