Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson have long since cemented their status as one of Hollywood’s coolest couples, and their style has a big part to play in this. Their appearance on the red (well, grey, actually) carpet at Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party was a testament to that, with the couple turning up in the sparkliest of looks that conveyed a directional spin on your classic wedding cake bride-and-groom aesthetic.
While R-Patz may not have been up for any gongs at the 2026 Oscars – despite the positive reception of Die My Love – his look was still a winner: a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt by Dior, featuring a brooch collar fastening in the place of a classic bow tie. For her part, Suki wore an exquisite design by Tamara Ralph, featuring an ivory satin mermaid skirt, a swooning silk crepe cape and a swirling, sculptural breastplate, its flickering details bringing a spiky edge to the romantic look.
Waterhouse and Pattinson, whose relationship dates back to 2018, have always been very discreet in front of the press. While their engagement has been public knowledge since the end of 2023, at the start of last year, it was widely reported that they tied the knot in a private ceremony in the Caribbean, where they had spent their Christmas holiday. While that’s yet to be officially confirmed by the couple, perhaps this style coup on Hollywood’s biggest night out of the year offered something of a clue…
