Is Florida Georgia Line back?

On Thursday, March 19, FGL — comprised of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley â€” reunited at BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS) bash in Nashville. The party was actually a surprise for country star Jason Aldean and honored his 31 career No. 1s.

“This is crazy… this is wild. I feel like this is every songwriter that’s ever written on my records!” Aldean, 49, told the crowd. “I had no idea about tonight — I thought I was coming to play one song and hang out for a minute and go home. Thank you so much for being here. All the writers here tonight are why I have a career, so thank you so much.”

As seen in a video posted by Country Now on Instagram, the “This Is How We Roll” performers reunited for the first time in four years to sing “You Make It Easy,” the song they co-wrote with Morgan Wallen and Jordan Schmidt that Aldean took to the top of the charts in 2018.

“Man, it feels good to be here tonight,” Hubbard, 39, said on stage, according to Taste of Country. “It feels good to be here with my brother.”

The reunion on stage came months after they reunited publicly with wives Brittney and Hayley at the CMA Awards in November 2025. The following month, Hubbard went on the Human School Podcast and reflected on his friendship with Kelley, 40.

“I hadn’t spoken to BK a lot in the last couple of years, but we’re going on a hike next week, so the way I see it is, I have a desire for that friendship,” Hubbard said of Kelley. “I miss the guy I was partners with for 10 years. I miss my old roommate, my best man at my wedding, and if nothing else, we should have a relationship.”

“It doesn’t have to be what it was, and it doesn’t have to equal FGL doing anything, but we need to repair… and spend some time together face-to-face. And just walk and talk and hang, and go fishing or get a guitar out,” he continued. “I’m excited for that, because yeah, it feels like, at this point, enough time has gone by.”

At the time, Hubbard said there hadn’t been a “real repair” done — but acknowledged that they’re in “way different places in life” and they may never go back to what they were.

“What I’m hungry for is… Let me get my friend back,” he said. “It’s like, dude, we had so many amazing years of blessings, and doing the craziest things that our wildest dreams couldn’t have imagined, we should be doing life together in some capacity still.”

Though a full-on revival of the band was still up in the air, Hubbard said they were both “making an effort” to rebuild their friendship.

In January, Kelley posted a cheeky Instagram Reel after a hike with Hubbard, hinting at their reconciliation. And in February, the Kelleys visited the Hubbards at their vacation home in Idaho for what Brittney called “healing, laughter, and remembering the ‘why’ that brought us together in the first place.”

“We’re thankful for time together, honest conversations, and the chance to reconnect on a deeper level,” she added.

The “Round Here” singers announced they were taking a break after 12 years together in August 2022. Afterward, they both pursued solo careers. The split came amid a rumored brief politically tinged spat on social media in 2020. However, both shut down talk of their differing opinions causing the fracture.

In May 2024, Kelley and Hubbard separately discussed the situation on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, explaining how the disbandment happened over Kelley’s desire to pursue solo work in addition to the band and Hubbard’s lack of interest in doing both at once.
