LDL. San Antonio Man in Critical Condition After Severe Car Accident, Family Seeks Prayers and Support

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 25-year-old San Antonio man remains in critical condition after a serious car accident just before Thanksgiving left him with life-threatening injuries.

Issac was exiting a gas station near Braun Road when wet roads caused his car to hydroplane. Another vehicle pushed him into oncoming traffic, resulting in multiple injuries. His girlfriend survived with broken ribs and a fractured fibula, but Issac suffered three brain bleeds, a traumatic brain injury, and a level-three severe concussion. Doctors say he is not fully conscious and remains unaware of his surroundings. There is currently no clear timeline for his recovery.

Before the accident, Issac worked in landscaping and had dreams of starting his own business. He had also expressed interest in serving in the Navy, with a future full of plans and possibilities. Now, that future hangs in uncertainty.

Issac’s grandmother has become his primary caregiver, providing around-the-clock support. The family is working to secure specialized rehabilitation at Warm Springs, which doctors say is critical to give Issac the best chance at regaining independence. Without it, he risks being sent home without the intensive care he needs.

Friends and family are asking the public to keep Issac in their prayers and to support the family during this challenging time. His close friend Ken, who has been by his side since the accident, said, “Issac needs both miracles and the power of prayer right now.”

The family hopes that sharing Issac’s story will raise awareness about the challenges families face in accessing critical care after traumatic injuries and the importance of community support in times of crisis.
