LDL. He’s resting peacefully after sudden pain– 14-year-old Will Roberts hospitalized again

Ralph, Alabama — Good morning, friends. As we begin this new day, let’s pause and lift up one of our own: 14-year-old Will Roberts, the brave young warrior from Ralph, Alabama, who continues his courageous fight against bone cancer.

Yesterday, Will and his parents Jason and Brittney rushed to Children’s of Alabama after sudden, debilitating pain struck his right leg on Thursday. What started as discomfort quickly escalated — by last night, Will couldn’t even stand to use the restroom.

Brittney shared her raw, heartfelt update late last night:

“Will’s pain in his right leg came out of nowhere yesterday and quickly became debilitating by last night. Today, he could not even stand to use the restroom.

“We contacted oncology and have since been admitted to Children’s as they work to establish an effective pain management plan.

“Nothing in his right leg lit up on his PET scan in early December, which raises concern that this could be something new.

“X-rays have been completed, and we are waiting to speak with the doctor while Will is finally resting peacefully.

“Please pray for Jason and me that we remain steadfast in our faith and continue trusting God’s plan, even as this past week has tested us in ways we never expected.”

The family held on to small moments of light: Jason managed to peek at the Bama game from Will’s hospital room, even as Will slept soundly — a brief glimpse of normalcy amid the storm.

Today, they hope for better news — answers, relief, and strength to carry on.

Will Roberts is more than a patient. He’s a son, a brother to Charlie, a fighter who faces every challenge with quiet bravery. His family — Jason, Brittney, and Charlie — stands with him, drawing on faith and love to keep going.

As we start our day, let’s surround them with prayers. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, peace for Will’s pain, strength for Jason and Brittney, and comfort for Charlie. Pray that today brings healing, clarity, and hope.
