Hunter had a difficult night after midnight.
Around 2 a.m., his wound vac began alarming. Nurses discovered the drain line had become clogged with a blood clot. After disconnecting and clearing the line, they reattached the wound vac â but when the vacuum seal engaged again, it caused intense pain for Hunter.
As if that wasnât enough, his left hand dressing around the fingers has been leaking, and the wound vac on his right side is also showing an air leak. His doctor was in surgery at the time but is expected to come by to assess everything as soon as possible.
Despite the setbacks, there was still good news today.
Friends and family have been coming in and out, keeping Hunterâs spirits lifted. Heâs staying strong, staying positive, and continuing to fight â even on the hard days.
This morningâs labs brought a hopeful sign:
