Those are the heartbreaking words from Kain’s mother, Chasity, as her son has once again been placed back on a ventilator. Machines are now breathing for him, as his fragile body struggles to do so on its own.

Doctors discovered a tiny fracture between his ear and brain — something so rare they had never seen it before. This leak may be another source of infection, making Kain’s condition even more critical.
He now has a feeding tube.
He still cannot breathe on his own.
