Rachel Tussey, 47 — a mother of three and a devoted wife — went into a “mommy makeover” surgery full of hope for a fresh new chapter.
That morning, she smiled from her hospital bed, sharing that she was “super, super pumped”… believing she still had so much life ahead of her.
Just hours later… everything changed forever.
According to her husband, Rachel asked for him after the procedure… then suddenly lost color. She became unresponsive.
Doctors rushed to perform CPR and called 911 in a desperate attempt to save her life.
Later, the family was told the devastating truth: Rachel had gone without oxygen for six minutes — long enough to change everything.
She never regained consciousness.
Rachel was taken off life support and placed in hospice care.
On March 17, surrounded by the people she loved most, she passed away.
She leaves behind a grieving husband who lost the love of his life…
and three children trying to understand how their mom simply… never came home.
