SAT . A Frightening Day for Little Jax: Family Asks for Prayers as Doctors Search for Answers

Today has been one of the hardest days yet for baby Jax and his family.

Out of nowhere, the little boy spiked a fever of 101.2°F, and it quickly became clear that something wasn’t right. His usually bright and resilient spirit was replaced with discomfort, fussiness, and exhaustion. For any parent, there are few things more heartbreaking than watching your child suffer and feeling powerless to make it better.

Doctors immediately began running tests to find out what could be causing the sudden illness. So far, Jax’s viral panel has come back negative, but several other important tests are still pending as medical teams work urgently to uncover the cause.

For most children, a fever can be concerning — but for Jax, it carries even greater weight. His tiny body has already faced more medical challenges than most babies ever will. Because of that, even a small infection can quickly become something serious.
