sat . A Life of Love, Service, and Sacrifice: Remembering Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt 🇺🇸💔

She was more than a uniform. She was a mother, a wife, and a woman who carried both love for her family and pride in her service every single day.
Ashley B. Pruitt was the devoted mother of a three-year-old little girl named Emilia, the loving wife of Greg, and a caring stepmother to Oliver. To her family, she was the heart of their home. To her fellow Airmen, she was a leader who genuinely cared about the people around her.
Ashley proudly served in the United States Air Force as a boom operator—one of the highly skilled specialists responsible for refueling aircraft in mid-air. It was demanding, high-pressure work, but those who served alongside her say she truly loved the mission and the responsibility that came with it.
After joining the Air Force in 2017, Ashley quickly built a career she was proud of. She supported critical missions and earned respect as a Technical Sergeant known for her dedication, professionalism, and compassion for the Airmen she led.
Tragically, on March 12, Ashley was among the service members killed when a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker crashed during a mission over Iraq.
But the people who loved her most say her story is far bigger than the tragedy.
They remember the woman who built her life around family.
The mother who adored her children.
The wife who worked side by side with her husband to build a future together.
And the friend and teammate who lifted others up.
Her loss leaves an unimaginable void for her family, friends, and the Airmen who stood beside her in service. Yet the memories she created — the love she gave and the dedication she showed — will live on.
Those who knew Ashley Pruitt say one thing with certainty:
She gave her heart to both her family and her country. And she will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
