After long conversations with our oncology team and reviewing all of Will’s scans from the last two days, the overall summary is MOSTLY STABLE compared to how aggressive things looked back in December. There is one new spot on pelvis that is being sent to radiology for review to see if more targeted radiation will help, and we are ready to tackle that head on.
The biggest update…..the immunotherapy treatment (MEPACT) that had already received FDA pre-approval for Will due to his extreme circumstances has finally arrived in the United States after being on back order from Europe for the last three months. Right now it is being held while final FDA release is completed, and as soon as that happens we will begin traveling to Children’s twice a week to start treatments. We are grateful for a team that keeps pushing forward and fighting alongside us.
We know this road isn’t easy, but we also know we are surrounded by some of the best doctors at Children’s and MD Anderson who are helping us bring every possible tool to this battle. Our goal remains the same …..to keep moving forward, keep believing, and keep fighting for healing.

We are dropping granny off, Will is updating paw-paw and we are now going to enjoy a weekend!!!!
