Today was a big day for Will as he completed Immunotherapy Dose #4, and let me tell you… he’s handling it like a champ. Right now, he’s stretched out and snoozing like someone who just had the most relaxing hot stone massage with an oceanfront view. Meanwhile, I’m over here still on full-time emotional support duty. 💙
Mom life and caregiver life don’t pause though. After treatment, Will decided he absolutely needed to make a detour to Bass Pro Shops before heading home. Because of course he did. 😅 Sometimes those little moments of normal life are exactly what keeps us going.
After that quick stop, it’s back to the usual routine — heading home so we can get Charlie to dance practice. By the time this day finally ends, I’m pretty sure I’ll look exactly like Will does right now when I finally collapse into bed tonight.
Days like today remind us how much strength this journey takes — not just physically, but emotionally too. But we are so incredibly grateful for the love surrounding us.
