I noticed it a day or so ago, and yesterday our friend Brittney Roberts confirmed my thoughts:
Brittney’s son Will is seeing his hair turn white (and yes, I absolutely love this look)!!
So, what’s going on with the 15-year-old who is fighting bone cancer?
It’s the result of one of Will’s oral drugs!
Here’s Brittney with an update she wrote last night:
“So, I slept with my first baby last night, and neither he nor I woke up until 4:30 when my alarm went off to give him his Cabo (a pill that targets cancer growth).
When I left for the gym, he told me he was going to try and make it to school.
“About 6:30 an he called and said when he got up to get ready he was exhausted and hurting all over.
He asked if he could try to check in around 11:00 instead.
I let him sleep, and he ended up resting until lunch but was still pretty sluggish.
“He spent most of the afternoon on the couch with Rebel until Jason got home. Will has been needing a haircut so bad, so he told Jason he thought he felt good enough to make the trip.
“Meet Will “Eminem” Roberts. 
“The Cabo messes with pigmentation, so all his hair is turning white.
His little freckles are even disappearing. He’s back to my little cotton top that he was when he was just a little tot.
“He’s on the mend tonight and is now on the phone with ‘little buddy’ Cooper planning a fishing trip for the morning. Charlie is out in the backyard dancing and making TikToks with two of her friends that are spending the night.
“Thank you God for the blessings during the hardest storm of my life.
“We will continue as long as You allow us to, and we will thank You for every single day we are all here together.”
What a nice update from Brittney, who has a knack for offering us a glimpse of her profound faith and her amazing family.
