Last Sunday at church, a familiar scripture echoed through the room: “On earth as it is in heaven.” For many, it was a simple verse. But for one family walking through a difficult season, the words carried a much deeper meaning.
The message spoke of a world as God intended it — a place without sickness, disease, hate, or war. While life on earth rarely feels that perfect, moments of grace still break through in unexpected ways.
For this family, that glimpse of heaven appears in the eyes of a child.
Despite the challenges surrounding them, the child’s smile continues to radiate hope and faith. In the middle of uncertainty, it reminds those around him that light can still exist even in the darkest seasons.
