TST. A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE AMIDST THE CHAOS

I wanted to take a moment to update everyone—not so much medically, but overall.

In all the chaos of the past five weeks, I really want to pause and acknowledge the incredible care Miller receives at St. Jude. It is truly amazing, and he so deserves it. Kids deserve to be treated when they are sick with patience, kindness, and the very best of everything—and that is exactly what happens here.

I’m endlessly thankful that God guided my steps to get Miller here when he relapsed, and that He continues to show up in such huge, tangible ways for our family right here at St. Jude.

Today, someone from the Family Commons even came over to the ICU to give Miller a haircut. He looks so precious, so grown up, and honestly, so much better than where we were not long ago. Emotionally, he’s carrying a lot—coming to terms with the reality that he was very close to not being here anymore is heavy and hard. But we continue to rejoice that we get to keep going, that God keeps opening doors, and that Miller is strong, capable, and still here.

He is making his Lego videos, interacting with everyone who comes into his room, and doing so many good things. This week alone, he’s had physical therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy, and even a visit from a therapy dog. I’m telling you—St. Jude truly does everything they say they do, and then some. It is an incredible gift that Miller is their patient.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for continuing to pray for us and think of us. When people reach out, they often mention how much support we have. The hard truth is, it doesn’t always feel that way. Especially when Miller and I are here alone, like this week. And we get it! Life moves on, people get busy, but sometimes the quiet can feel very isolating.

Beyond prayers (which we deeply need and cherish), if you feel led to reach out—especially to Miller—please do. It truly means more than you know.

To those who have asked how they can help, DoorDash, Target, and Kroger gift cards are incredibly helpful. While there is a café here at St. Jude, sometimes we just need a change or a little treat, or to order groceries with things Miller likes. These gestures truly make a difference.

Or my Venmo is @mrsMirandaGriffith; last 4-digits are 8226.

Thank you for loving our family and for continuing to lift up our #mightyMiller💙🧡

This is the song he was just playing… 🎉🎵😊
