SAT . Seven Years Later, a Miracle Still Shines: Celebrating Addi’s Miracle Day

Seven years ago today, a family stood in a hospital room facing what no parent is ever prepared for.

Their daughter, Addi, was critically ill. Acute liver failure had taken hold. Her organs were shutting down. She was unresponsive as medical teams worked urgently around her, preparing the family for the possibility that she might not survive. In that moment, fear filled the room, and hope felt painfully fragile.

“It was clear something was terribly wrong,” her family recalls. “We felt like we were losing her.”

But the story did not end there.

What began that day was not an instant rescue, but the slow unfolding of a miracle — one shaped by relentless prayer, extraordinary medical care, and a family holding tightly to faith when fear tried to take over.

“But God,” they say simply.

Over hours, days, and months, Addi fought her way back. Today, seven years later, she is living proof of that miracle. A survivor filled with sunshine, joy, and strength, Addi embodies resilience and faith beyond her years.

Her family celebrates not just the miracle that saved her life, but the ongoing miracle of who she has become — a brave, compassionate, Jesus-loving girl whose life continues to inspire everyone around her.

“Every single day with her is a gift we never take for granted,” her family shared. “We will forever praise God and tell her testimony to bring hope and give glory for all He has done.”

They also expressed deep gratitude to the countless people who prayed then — and who continue to pray now.

“Look what God has done,” they say. “If you don’t believe in miracles… you’re looking at one.”

As they mark this milestone, the family reflects on the powerful words of Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Seven years has made all the difference. And on this Miracle Day, Addi’s story stands as a reminder of faith, perseverance, and the hope that can rise even in the darkest hospital rooms. 💛🎗
