Seven years ago today, a family stood in a hospital room facing what no parent is ever prepared for.
Their daughter, Addi, was critically ill. Acute liver failure had taken hold. Her organs were shutting down. She was unresponsive as medical teams worked urgently around her, preparing the family for the possibility that she might not survive. “It was clear something was terribly wrong,” her family recalls. “We felt like we were losing her.”

“Every single day with her is a gift we never take for granted,” her family shared. “We will forever praise God and tell her testimony to bring hope and give glory for all He has done.”
They also expressed deep gratitude to the countless people who prayed then — and who continue to pray now.
“Look what God has done,” they say. “If you don’t believe in miracles… you’re looking at one.”
As they mark this milestone, the family reflects on the powerful words of Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
