SAT. Update: A quieter night — and real progress.Update: After days of fear, tonight brought something this family has been waiting for — calm.

Hunter had a good night.

He woke around 3 a.m., but his pain was manageable. His right hand dressing was changed, and doctors say the wound is looking good. There were no new issues with his left arm or hand, and the wound vac continues to do its job, with only minimal drainage.

For the first time in days, there is forward movement.

Medical teams have started gentle stretching exercises in Hunter’s left fingers — a small step, but one that signals healing is underway.

The family is still waiting on workers’ compensation decisions, which will determine how long this hospital stay will last. Another surgery remains scheduled for Monday morning.

For now, the focus is simple: rest, stability, and steady progress.

And through it all, one thing hasn’t changed — the prayers continue.

Thank you to everyone holding Hunter close in your thoughts and prayers. 💙
