This morning brought another meaningful step forward in Hunter Alexander’s long road to recovery.
Dr. Marshall stopped by earlier today and made careful adjustments to Hunter’s pain medication, fine-tuning his treatment to help make the pain more manageable — especially with an eye toward the day he can finally be discharged and continue healing at home. While the journey is far from over, moments like this signal progress — steady, intentional, and deeply hoped for.
Later this morning, in a quiet moment alone at the hospital cafeteria, time seemed to slow. Scrolling through photos from just two weeks ago, the weight of everything that has happened suddenly became clear. In what feels like the blink of an eye, Hunter has moved from a fight for survival to a place of real, tangible improvement.
