LDL. Hunter Alexander Faces Another Painful Night but Remains Resilient
Hunter Alexander’s journey of recovery has once again shown how unpredictable and challenging healing from severe injuries can be.
After a relatively calm night, trouble struck around 2:00 a.m. when Hunter’s wound vacuum began alarming. Nurses discovered that the drain line had become clogged with a blood clot. While clearing the line was necessary to ensure proper healing, reconnecting the device and creating a vacuum seal caused Hunter a great deal of pain.
Additional complications arose: the dressing on his left hand at the fingers began leaking, and the right wound vac developed an air leak. His attending doctor, currently in surgery, is expected to check on him as soon as possible.
Despite the challenges, Hunter’s spirits remain high. Friends and family visited throughout the day, providing comfort, encouragement, and moments of laughter that reminded him he is not facing this fight alone.
There was also positive medical news: Hunter’s CK level this morning dropped to 1,125, a sign that his muscle recovery continues to progress steadily.
Through every setback, alarm, and sleepless night, Hunter continues to demonstrate remarkable resilience and courage. His determination to keep fighting, even in pain, inspires everyone around him.
