SAT. UPDATE: A DAY FILLED WITH LAUGHTER, SUPPORT, AND GOOD NEWS FOR HUNTER

It was a full house today, and exactly the kind of day Hunter needed.

Friends and loved ones stopped by throughout the day, bringing items, smiles, and plenty of laughs. The family expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who came—each visit lifting Hunter’s spirits in ways medicine alone can’t.

A special shoutout went to Hunter’s fellow linemen. More than coworkers, they’re family. “You’re like brothers to him,” the family shared, “and he loves you all.”

Inside the SICU, the care continued with warmth and humor. Nurses Seth, Emily, and Kara delivered more than medical support—bringing a fresh cup of coffee, a Valentine-themed “moo moo,” and even a few emotional support chicks, sparking laughter and lightening the mood.

Dr. Purcell also stopped by to provide information regarding the Restarta Matrix, an important part of ongoing discussions in Hunter’s treatment plan.

Best of all, the day remained quiet on the medical front, with no new issues or complications—a welcome and encouraging sign.

Sometimes progress doesn’t come with big headlines. Sometimes, it looks like steady healing, good company, and a calm day—and today, that was more than enough.
