SAT . Hunter Update: A Quiet but Encouraging Night After a Long Day

Hunter is settling in for the night after a day filled with small but meaningful developments, according to an update shared by his father, Daren Alexander.
Earlier this evening, the orthopedic doctor checked on Hunter and removed the wrap dressing from his right arm. The doctor then carefully re-taped around Hunter’s thumb and fingers to ensure everything was properly sealed before connecting his right arm directly to wall suction. Encouragingly, that hand and arm have shown very little drainage over the past two days — a detail doctors are watching closely.
Despite the ongoing pain and the seriousness of his injuries, today brought moments of light. Hunter was surrounded by visitors, and his father shared how special it was to see him smiling, enjoying the company, and eating it all up.

“Thank all of y’all for your love and support — and for all the food, snacks, and everything,” Daren said, expressing deep gratitude to everyone who has shown up for their family.
Daren also thanked the community for the continued prayers, saying they are helping more than words can express.

For those who may not know Hunter’s story: he is a lineman with Entergy who was electrocuted while working to restore power after the devastating ice storm in Louisiana. He suffered severe burns to both hands and continues to endure intense pain as he fights through recovery.
Please continue to keep Hunter in your prayers. Every message of support and every prayer truly matters. 🙏
