In his 4-year-old birthday photos, Bowen doesnât look especially thrilled. And honestlyâwho could blame him?
This past year has been incredibly hard on this little boy. Bowen is battling a rare form of brain cancer, yet what continues to amaze everyone around him is this simple truth: he is tougher than anyone ever expected.
Through long treatments, exhausting days, and sleepless nights, Bowen keeps fightingâarmed with his bright smile, a whole lot of love, and yes⌠a whole lot of chicken nuggets đ§Ąđ.
By his side every step of the way are his incredible parents, Kelli and Joshua. Theyâve endured the long nights and the hardest treatments together, never once letting go of hope or love. Their strength and devotion never waver.
Bowen has just completed his 6th round of chemotherapyâa milestone worth celebrating. But his mom shared that the next few weeks will be especially tough as his body recovers. And heartbreakingly, that difficult stretch falls right in the middle of his birthday.
Even so, Bowenâs family is doing everything they can to find light in this season. And itâs Bowen himselfâhis smile, his courage, his perseveranceâwho continues to lead the way.
