Some days on the road to recovery are harder than we ever expect. Today was one of those days for Jude.
What we hoped would be a simple flu has taken longer to pass, leaving his little body tired and his nervous system more agitated. He spiked a fever today, and every small change has been watched closely with worry, love, and constant prayer.
We are taking baby steps—very small ones—helping Jude heal. There is no rushing this process, only patience, comfort, and hope. Tonight, our deepest prayer is for a restful, fever-free night so his body can gather the strength it needs to keep fighting this yucky flu.
Moments like these remind us how powerful the smallest victories are. A calm night. A steady breath. A little more peace. All of it means everything. More than anything, we can’t wait to see Jude back to his joyful, smiling self—the little boy whose happiness lights up every room.
