Sometimes healing doesnāt come from medicine alone.
Sometimesā¦ it comes from hope, heart, and the kindness of people who choose to show up.
And today, something incredibly special happened.
Look who stopped by to meet and motivate our Mighty Miller ā Oklahoma City Thunder players Isaiah Joe and Jaylin Williams.
Yes, theyāre in Memphis for a game.
But they also knew that Memphis is home to St. Jude Childrenās Research Hospital ā and thatās where Miller is receiving specialized, critical care.
They didnāt have to come.
They didnāt have to go out of their way.
But they did.
Iām told it wasnāt even easy to find Miller. The players had to drive to a different building, navigate the hospital campus, and track him down ā but they made it their mission. Because today wasnāt about basketball. It was about a child who needed encouragement, strength, and a reminder that heās not fighting alone.
And when they finally arrived?
Smiles.
Energy.
A moment of pure joy that lit up the room.
For Miller, this wasnāt just a visit.
It was a boost.
A spark.
A reminder that heroes donāt always wear capes ā sometimes they wear jerseys.
Isaiah Joe and Jaylin Williams didnāt just stop by. They showed up ā and in doing so, they gave Miller something priceless: motivation, belief, and a memory that will stay with him far beyond today.
In a place often filled with fear and uncertainty, this visit turned a hospital room into a space of hope and healing.
