sat . Headline: A ROUTINE CHECK-UP, A SHOCKING DIAGNOSIS, AND A HIDDEN MIRACLE ❤️🙏

It started as the most ordinary thing in the world: a routine 6th-grade physical. No one expected to leave that appointment with their lives changed forever.

But that’s exactly what happened. Doctors discovered that Nevaeh’s spine had a severe 70-degree curve, shaped like an “S.” It was severe scoliosis that had somehow gone unnoticed until that very moment. In a heartbeat, her family went from planning for the school year to planning for major spinal surgery.

But then, the story took a terrifying—yet miraculous—turn.

As Nevaeh was being prepped for her spine operation, a required cardiology exam revealed something far more dangerous hidden silently inside her chest. Nevaeh was born with a rare congenital heart defect called PAPVR and a hole in her heart.

If not for the scoliosis diagnosis, her heart condition might have remained a ticking time bomb.

Everything stopped. The spine surgery was immediately put on hold. The priority shifted from straightening her back to saving her heart.

On January 8, this brave girl underwent open-heart surgery. Today, we are overjoyed to say she is in the PICU and doing incredibly well! She has cleared the first massive hurdle. 🌟

However, this is not the finish line. Nevaeh still faces a long recovery, and once her heart is strong enough, she must still face the major surgery for her spine. Through it all, she has been brave beyond her years—a true warrior for her twin sister Maya and her little brother to look up to.

Nevaeh has already proven her strength. One heart repaired. One step forward. And a future that is so worth fighting for.

Please send your love, good luck, and prayers as she heals and prepares for the next battle. You’ve got this, Nevaeh! 💪❤️

Headline: ONE BRAVE GIRL. TWO MAJOR BATTLES. AN UNBREAKABLE SPIRIT. 💪✨

Imagine being in 6th grade and finding out you need not one, but two major surgeries to save your life. This is Nevaeh’s reality.

It began with a shock diagnosis during a physical: a 70-degree curve in her spine. Severe scoliosis. But as her family prepared for the difficult road of spinal surgery, they were hit with a second, even scarier wave.

Pre-op testing revealed a rare, hidden heart defect (PAPVR) and a hole in her heart. Suddenly, the spine surgery had to wait. Her heart had to come first.

On January 8, Nevaeh faced the operating room for open-heart surgery. And like the champion she is, she came out fighting. She is currently in the PICU, recovering well and showing us all what true bravery looks like.

This journey has turned her family’s life upside down—hospital stays, travel, uncertainty, and the worry felt by her twin sister Maya and her little brother. But through every twist and turn, Nevaeh has remained a beacon of strength.

She has climbed the first mountain. Her heart is repaired. Now, she rests before she must climb the second mountain: surgery for her spine.

Nevaeh has a long road ahead, but she isn’t walking it alone. She has proved that she is stronger than the fear.

Please drop a ❤️ or a prayer below for Nevaeh’s recovery and for the spinal surgery that still lies ahead. Let’s cover this family in love!

We are so proud of you, Nevaeh!
