3S. FURY OVER WATT’S RECORD! HARRISON SLAMS BURROW FOR LETTING RIVAL WIN.

Myles Garrett surpassed T.J. Watt’s co-shared sack record in the Cleveland Browns’ Week 18 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals — and one Pittsburgh Steelers legend believes there was more to the situation.

On a recent episode of the Deebo & Joe podcast, the legendary James Harrison blasted Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow for giving up on the sack for Garrett, claiming his “hate” was greater for Pittsburgh than Cleveland as Watt’s record was broken on Sunday.
“He didn’t even try and run,” Harrison said about Burrow getting sacked by Garrett. “He didn’t go out of his way? He sat down. He looked behind him and sat down. … And leaned a little this way to make sure it was Garrett that touched him. He only did that, brother, to break T.J.’s record, man. Joe Burrow got more hate for the Steelers than he do the Browns, that’s all that was.”
With around five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Garrett came screaming off the edge as Burrow appeared to give himself up on the play.
Harrison would go on to offer Burrow a hilarious way to make up for giving up the sack record to Garrett — leaving the Bengals to join the Steelers, which, as unrealistic as it is, would more so solve Pittsburgh’s future quarterback woes.
