Eight Hours of Forever: A Mother’s Love That Time Could Not Take
It has been one month since Kimberly last held her son in her arms — fully aware that their time together would be heartbreakingly short, yet loving him with every piece of her soul anyway. Today, with immense courage and tenderness, she is ready to share what that day meant to her, hoping her story might bring comfort to another parent walking a path they never imagined they would have to face.

On November 24th, at 5:48 p.m., Kimberly welcomed her beautiful baby boy, Elias Noah, into the world. After months filled with fear, prayer, unanswered questions, and quiet hope, she and her family were finally able to meet the son they had already loved so deeply long before his first breath.
Elias lived for eight precious hours.
Eight hours that held a lifetime of love.

Those hours were spent holding him close, studying every detail of his tiny face, whispering words only a mother could say, and committing every second to memory. There was no rushing time, no looking ahead — only presence, love, and gratitude for each fleeting moment they were given.
In the early hours of November 25th, Elias passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved him most.
“To our baby boy, we will always love and miss you,” Kimberly shared. “That time we had is a memory that we will cherish forever.”

Just weeks earlier, Kimberly had bravely shared her pregnancy journey publicly after learning that Elias had been diagnosed with Thanatophoric Skeletal Dysplasia — a rare and life-limiting condition. Doctors had told her he would not survive after birth. Yet even with that knowledge, Kimberly carried her son with unwavering love, choosing hope, connection, and meaning in the midst of unimaginable pain.
Today, Kimberly says that the prayers, kindness, and support surrounding her family helped carry them through the darkest moments of their lives. And if she could offer one message to other parents facing similar heartbreak, it would be this:
“Cherish every moment. And know that they will always be with you.”
Please continue to lift Kimberly, Bryan, Areli, and baby Elias Noah in your prayers. Their love story did not end — it changed. And by sharing it, they are offering light, understanding, and quiet strength to others who may need it most.
Some lives are brief, but their impact is eternal.
Elias Noah lived for eight hours — and he will be loved forever. 🤍
