SAT . “IT HAPPENED IN A MOMENT.”

A father thought grandma was watching.
A grandmother thought dad was watching.
And in that single moment, 2-year-old Ezequiel reached the pool.
Everything changed.
The youngest of six, full of energy and life, he was found in the water on March 13 and rushed to the hospital by air. His mother wasn’t even home — she was in another country when she got the call.
“I need to go home. I need to see my baby.”
By the time she arrived, he was in the ICU. Days passed with nothing but hope, prayers, and waiting. Her little boy lay there — unable to move, unable to speak.
Today, there is a small light.
He’s out of the ICU.
But the journey ahead is long — recovery, therapy, and uncertainty.
Now, his mother is sharing their story for one reason:
So no other family has to live this nightmare.
Check your doors.
Check your locks.
Check your pool.
Because it only takes one second.
🙏 Please share this message and keep this little boy in your prayers.
What’s one safety habit you never skip for your children?
