SAT . BREAKING: Bombshell Report Exposes Trump Admin Plan to Strip Citizenship From Up to 200 People Every Month
In a horrifying escalation of Stephen Miller’s efforts to purge the United States of immigrants, the White House has issued a new guidance to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ordering them to “supply Office of Immigration Litigation with 100-200 denaturalization cases per month” next year.
Usually, denaturalization only happens in the very rare cases of fraud; in the past 8 years, there have only been a total of 120 denaturalization cases filed; now Trump and his goons want to kick out up to 200 people a month.
After seeing the ease and frequency with which ICE, DHS, and every other arm of the Trump government shamelessly lie and concoct fake stories in order to justify their appalling excesses, you can be sure that these denaturalization cases will be based on nothing but bullsh*t and racism.
“Imposing arbitrary numerical targets on denaturalization cases risks politicizing citizenship revocation,” said Sarah Pierce, a former U.S.C.I.S. official, to the New York Times. “And requiring monthly quotas that are 10 times higher than the total annual number of denaturalizations in recent years turns a serious and rare tool into a blunt instrument and fuels unnecessary fear and uncertainty for the millions of naturalized Americans.”
This is just the start of a very slippery slope that we’ve been seeing the Trump administration pushing in every arena. It starts with denaturalizing immigrant citizens; it ends with denaturalizing US citizens and and eporting the critics to his regime. We must push back with all the strength we have, call out their abuses whenever we can, sound the alarm, and protect our neighbors every chance we get.
